Happy New Year.

Well another year over so Happy New Year to everyone and hope it is a healthy, happy, prosperous one for you all. I had a quiet night at home in bed with the cat enjoying a Bailey's Irish cream to drink. I could hear the neighbourhood coming to life and the fireworks exploding. The cat was too tired and full of food to bother about all the commotion so went back to sleep. New year's day dawned and I took a drive down to a girlfriend's place on the Peninsula where we sat and had a chat. We then got on the computer for some ancestry and Pinterest. Lunch followed which was a delicious salad and then we settled in for the afternoon with a movie and a huge tin of chocolate nuts. Our movie of choice was one that I received for Christmas called Suite Francaise.[Will tell you about it in a later blog]. We then enjoyed a cup of tea and a pastry before I drove home to prepare dinner. Decided on a simple Alfredo pasta with avocado and a glass of red. Tired and content I retired to bed. First day done.
