On To Bonn

Docked in Bonn and onto the bus to take us to Bruhl to the Augustburg Palace. Baroque and Riccoco in style. Truly impressive and magnificent. 



The staircase  being the the main feature of the house. We saw nineteen rooms out of one hundred, all beautiful. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take any photos inside. Then it was off to the hunting lodge where falconry was big. Back to the ship for a hot chocolate and cake before dinner. Dinner- nice crab cake entree , then chicken and vegetables. Lemon coconut pannacotta for dessert. 


To bed early as it is castle day tomorrow and the River Rhine Gorge.
