What is happiness and are we looking for it in the right places?Maybe we need to spend more time thinking about it and seeing what other people have to say and do about it. Is it so elusive?Here are some thought provoking ideas to do with happiness. For me it is quite simple. A good book in my hand, a cup of tea and a dog or cat [or both] by my side. Of course world peace would be up there but a bit more difficult to obtain. For others it may also be more complex.
Voltaire said that: I have chosen to be happy because it is good for my health.
Be yourself . Life is precious as it is. All the elements for your happiness are already here. There is no need to run, strive, search, or struggle.
The happiest people in life are the givers, not the getters.
The formulate for happiness is Gratitude.
The secret of being happy is accepting where you are in life and making the most out of every day.
Now and then it is good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.
